Born and Raised in San Diego, I began cutting hair at the age of 20. I was looking for a unique way to express my artistic ability while I studied Kinesiology at California State Univeristy San Marcos. I worked at a local barbershop where I gained many valuable skills, and perfected my craft. After graduating, I did not feel the same way about becoming a PE teacher as I once did. I decided to stick with my passion and become a full time barber. Greenbelly was born when I moved to Utah in January, 2019. Panzas Verdes (Greenbelly) is a nickname for the people of Léon Guanajuato, Mexico. I am proud to come from a hardworking family and want to be reminded of that everyday. As the founder of Greenbelly, I am determined to provide great haircuts in a welcoming environment and become a staple in the community by creating confidence and building self-esteem in all our guest.
